Where does that t-shirt come from?
At H&M you don't pay more than 3.99 GBP for a basic t-shirt. At the same time, the company claims to support fair working conditions for local employees in the countries where the clothes are manufactured. How is that possible? Wolfgang Uchatius from the German weekly ZEIT went looking for answers in the US, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Hamburg.
